Wesley Night Activities


On Wednesdays throughout the school year, we enjoy an evening of dinner, fellowship, support, and growth for all ages. Come join us!

Dinner is 5:30 to 6:30 PM in the Social Hall
$8 for adults, $4 for children, with an $24 cap per family.

You can make reservations by completing and turning in a pew pocket card (found in the bullentins at our 9 AM service) on Sundays or by calling the church office at 459-1595 by noon on Tuesdays. We also accept "standing" reservations.

Wesley Night Preview-January 11, 2012 
Regular schedule begins January 18, 2012

On Wednesday, January 11, we will gather for dinner and fellowship, dismiss the children to their activities and then hear a brief overview the classes/groups to be offered this session. Classes/groups will begin the following Wednesday, January 18.

Wesley Night Adult Options Winter/Spring 2012

Studying Other Denominations: Learn what makes various Christian denominations unique and what we all have in common.  Led by Gary Gibson (room 100)

Jesus and the Gospels: His Ministry in Galilee: Take a closer look at Jesus’ ministry through the Gospel accounts.  Meets until Lent. Led by Dean Harper (room 113)

Invitation to the New Testament: Gain a deeper understanding of the New Testament through this Disciple Bible Study.  Led by Katrina Paxson (room 319)

Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World: Join us in a discussion of this book about finding intimacy with God in the busyness of life.  Meets until Lent.  Led by Grey Buchanan (room 111)

Prayer Practices: Explore various ways of praying and connecting to God.  Meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month, 6-6:30pm.  Led by Cullen Hornaday (room 219, parlor)

Contemplative Worship: A time for quiet reflection, meditative music, prayer, and silence (chapel)

Beading to Beat Autism: Bracelet  making to support Autism research (social hall)

Childcare

Childcare is available for children ages birth-4 years from 6 to 8 PM, allowing adults to participate in study groups.
